Matchmaking can seem like a mysterious and sometimes cruel part of League of Legends , but players should hopefully have a better insight into how the system works following an entire dev post dedicated to the topic. The Rioter admitted that the team knows the matchmaking system will never be entirely perfect, but Riot Gortok and others went on to explain other matchmaking details while debunking some myths along the way.
It can also feel like these allies appear at the least opportune times, but getting bad teammates like these at critical times is just an urban myth, for the most part. We think this is the right tradeoff compared to having a volatile rank—being demoted feels rough, and reaching a tier should be a decent indication that you can play at that level.
Riot Games, if you are reading this: I've lost two promos for Silver IV in a row due to this unfair algorithm and I demand compensation. Otherwise, legal actions WILL follow. Till that point I actually believed a bit At first I thought he was definitely a troll but then I don't know shit about programming. So everything with a file name and big letters seems legit to me.
You should have stopped when he said that imported the game into his IDE. And from here it just went downhill. I can personally attest that his "suggestions" absolutely shitstomp Intellisense. I miss that paperclip randomly popping up in front of my cursor and giving me the best advice ever: For multiple reasons this was the stopping point, mainly because matchmaking would never be handled client side.

Well if you know shit about informatic, and not just web programmer, you get it at the near first sentences. D not like matchmaking is serverbased and therefore no files on your computer have anything to do with it. You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - The most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia" - but only slightly less well-known is this: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! The poison was in both glasses. I have spent the last several years building up an immunity to Iocane powder. Kill Squad, also known as Team2.
OP you're through, no way you're beating the Kill Squad. It was hard to find the bug because we didn't want to find the bug , but now we used a new technology to find the bug and release the shen. Errors in Concatenation, directly accessing object attributes instead of using getters It's better to get the afk in the first game so you can channel your rage from that game to the feeder in the following game.
I think that's not what he means, it's those guys that are like "hi guys first time insert champion here lol". I spent way too much time trying to figure out how he got matchmaking code from the client. For me it was " I'm afraid they are tracking me down and I had to get it out before it's too late.

I thought it was just a joke but then i saw the pastebin commands and i was like fuck Yes, that's the default instalation path. You want your own folder on my HDD's root? Depends on the language. Makes it very easy to disassemble: This, however, is not the end. I will keep on fighting and gathering evidence. I'm currently looking at some subclasses of Server, in particular EuwServer and NaServer, and this does not bode well.
For instance, the EuwServer's controller class has a switch statement which creates artificial lag when a player is playing an important game. There is also another switch statement which will prompt a firewall error http: Oh yeah, wanted to say I got into Silver IV. I do understand that this might be an attempt of Riot to shut my mouth.
Since your winratio is so high, based on all your coding experience, do you think it's possible that Actually Riot has already stated that in perfect matchmaking you win as many games as you lose. If your MMR is not as high as your skill, you will win more games than you lose. If your MMR is higher than your skill, you will lose more. As unfair as it sounds, in a HUGE sample as riot uses, it actually works fine.
Every person starts at somewhere around silver when they first play ranked. Some of them are silver in skill, some bronze, some are gold and higher. If you normally play like a diamond, you'll most probably right away and fast, unless you're really unlucky and it takes some time start winning more than losing. Your MMR will go higher, and eventually your league.
These games will probably sometimes be a bit unfair for your enemies because you're not yet playing at your skill level. That's why Riot doesn't want that. This will happen with new accounts and at the start of the season obviously, but it doesn't matter that much.

It can't be avoided and it's not happening often. At some point you'll reach diamond 4 for example where you'll find players of your skill. Since most of the times all 10 players will be in average of the same skill, you have equal chance to win as the other team. And that's what Riot wants, fair games. Their functions didn't get any parameters, but they are using instances of random object in their definition.
This is why servers are crashing. Dont know if intentional that if the 4th player is a BP you dont get a 5th player. If not you don goofed mate, you need better researching skills. Otherwise, very deep understanding of Matching-Problems, Rito should hire you to improve their algorithm. There is however an indentation mistake but as it's not python it doesn't matter to the code.
The sad part is how many bad players truly believe something like this exists and claim that Riot is out to get them. The funny part about them is that you can spectate their games and see the real reasons they lose. Sometimes you go on winning streaks you don't deserve aka I carried and sometimes on loosing streaks you don't deserve aka OMG wood 5 team. I want to upvote this, but I'm afraid that people will actually believe it and start whining about BP's in chat.
We believe the issues you are encountering are being investigated as we speak. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask. Is this the reason for all those AFKS??? Scumbag rito, you went too far! I've always noticed the more you start winning, you always start getting extremely dead weight players to keep you from winning. At the end of a decent win streak, I always get burnt out from trying to carry uncarriable players multiple games in a row.
League of Legends Matchmaking Explained, Myths Debunked
Could someone explain why pseudo-intellectual trolling is getting upvoted so much? Does this post actually look legitimate to some people? I wonder how many people spread the word in silver now that elo hell is real and they got dem proofs. I actually believed you until I saw you "got" code from local files instead of stealing it somehow from server, well played though, hilarious.
Rito making inside deals with Verizon and Comcast to supply required playerbase. You heard it here first.
